The process
1
We discuss your needs and aspirations
Over a cup of tea or coffee, we can assess your requirements based on the garments you are looking to have made, how you like things to fit, and also the occasion or environment in which the garment is to be worn.

2
Select style and fabric
We are here to help you create the garments you have in mind. With our specialist knowledge, we can help you design something unique and individual. By selecting from our range of styles, finishing features and fabrics, we will help you design a garment by you for you.
Our tailors will guide you through the available fabric collections, discussing the various compositions and properties with you to help you decide on the perfect fabric for your suit. The next step is that we will design your suit in consultation with you. You will be offered a wide range of fabrics, lining and styles to choose from, including a variety of collars, cuffs, pockets, embroideries and even personalised labels.

3
Measuring and Fitting
At this stage, we will ask you to try on one of our master models that correspond to your body dimensions. This will help us to make any necessary adjustments before the fabric is cut and the garment sewn. Throughout the process we will explain to you what needs to be done and discuss your personal preferences to ensure the perfect fit.

4
Creation
We assess the information from your visit and work with our tailors in London and France to ensure your clothes are designed, produced and finished to your desired specifications.
A suit will generally take 6 weeks to make. However, express production is available; please contact us as soon as possible to let us know the date you need your suit, to see if we can accommodate your request. Certain fabrics may take slightly longer due to the time needed for the mill to send the fabric.

5
Completion
As soon as your suit has been made, we will arrange your second appointment, during which you can try on your finished suit and discuss how it looks and feels. Occasionally, due to personal client preferences, we make minor alterations at our local workshop. These will generally be completed within 2-3 days, depending on our workload.

Fabrics
All our fabrics are from English and Italian Mills. One of the most important choices you will make whilst designing your suit will be the choice of fabric. Tailor at Drum proudly offers a wide range of seasonal fabrics from the finest British and Italian weavers such as Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, Ermenegildo Zegna, Harrisons of Edinburgh, Harddersfield Fine Worsteds, Dougdale Bros & Co.
